Skoug competes through injury
When Tayvin Skoug came to participate with the Tiger Trap Team last Saturday, her teammates wondered how she could possibly shoot with a broken foot and walking on crutches, the result of a late season ski trip to Colorado.
But seventh grader Tayvin and her mother, Jessin, had it all figured out. When it was time for her to shoot, Tayvin’s mother carried a stool out to the shooting line and held Tayvin’s gun and crutches while she sat on the stool and readied herself to shoot.
