Soccer boys celebrate successful season
The Lake City High School varsity boys soccer season ended in a tight match up in October at home when the fourth seeded Lake City faced the fifth seeded Stewartville in the second round of section play. Defense worked hard to hold off Stewartville attacks and senior goalkeeper, Noah Wallerich, tallied 4 saves. Lake City attackers created scoring opportunities with 8 total shots. The game remained scoreless until Stewartville scored in the last 4 minutes of the second half. The final score ended 0-1 with Stewartville moving on to face Winona Cotter.
