Softball Tigers go 1-1 at invitational

The Lake City Tigers softball won one and lost one in a multi-school invitational, May 8, in Preston, Minn., that also included Fillmore Central, Houston, and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (WEM).

The Tigers faced Waterville-Elysian-Morristown their first game.

Although the Bucs went on defense with four runs already on the board, the Tigers weren’t discouraged.

Mirrah Wells started the Tigers’ first-inning roll with a single to left field, then Jamee Norlund followed her with a double.
