Speech team members compete at section, state
Two members of the Lake City High School speech team won section titles in their respective categories, earning themselves a trip to the state competition.
Ash Fuller was first in Discussion. Margaret Rol was first in Prose Reading.
At the state competition, Fuller placed ninth and Rol placed 10th.
Also placing at sections were:
• Evelyn Rogness: fourth in Humorous Interpretation (state alternate qualifier)
• Jaxon Porisch and Will Stolzenberg: fifth in Duo Interpretation
• Brody Benjamin: sixth in Discussion
