Taylor Heise back on Team USA for world championship tourney
For the second straight year, Taylor Heise of Lake City is competing for a world championship as a member of Team USA women’s hockey team.
Last year Heise was named player of the tournament and Team USA finished with a silver medal after losing to Canada in the finals.
This year’s International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship tournament began April 5 and runs through April 16 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Team USA is 3-0-1-0 heading into bracket play.
