Tennis Tigers defeat Cotter
The Lake City High School girls tennis team were in control Sept. 3 when they traveled to Winona to take on the Cotter Ramblers. The Tigers went home with a 5-2 win.
The single loss in singles play came at No. 1 when Grace Dankers was controlled 0-6, 0-6.
Emily Albright pulled out a win at No. 2 singles following three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.
Ava Wallerich won easily at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-0.
Ashley Thieren followed with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.
In doubles play, Katie Johnson and Kasi Cronin took charge and won their No. 1 doubles match 6-0, 6-0.
