Tiger baseball falls 5-3 in season opener

The Lake City Tiger baseball team lost their season opener to the Pine Island Panthers on Monday night at Bill Kieffer Field by a final score of 5-3.
The Tigers got things moving in the first inning with an RBI double by senior catcher, Riley Forbes, following a David Oeltjen walk to lead off the game. However, Lake City bats would fall silent for the next four innings.
