Tiger baseball wins offensive battle with St. Charles 12-8

The Lake City Tiger baseball team jumped out to an early lead over St. Charles and took home a 12-8 victory on Tuesday, May 4.

Lake City scored on a single by Ben Nutt, a double by Max Balow, a single by Dylan Rumley, a stolen base by Rumley, and a double by Johan Zorn in the first inning.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Lake City collected 13 hits and St. Charles 11 in the high-scoring affair. St. Charles added three runs in the seventh inning on a base clearing triple by Braeden Ihrke.
