Tiger bowlers notch double wins at Rushford
The Lake City Tiger bowling team was back in action Saturday at Nordic Lanes in Rushford.
Varsity bowled Red Wing in their first match winning four out of five. Sam Smith had a 100 percent fill percentage, followed by Dane Houghton at 91 percent.
In their second match they bowled Winona, winning four out of five games. They set a new Lake City five game total record of 1,014 pins which is a 202 average. Their games were 150, 253, 235, 204, and 172. Sam Smith, Resa Laqua, Conner Ferguson, Dane Houghton, and Gage Knutson were all over 85 percent in total fill percentage.
