Tiger boys defeat Pine Island at home 69-51

A 12-0 run to end the first half propelled Lake City to a 69-51 victory over Pine Island last Friday night at Lincoln High School.

The Tigers led 7-6 after five minutes of play before a 6-0 burst which included a dunk by Gavyn Lorenson and a steal and layup by Conrad Seydel forced a Pine Island timeout.

The Panthers responded with Benjamin Perreault scoring eight straight points off the bench, including a pair of three pointers to take a 14-13 lead with 8:59 to play until halftime.
