Tiger boys golf team finishes 6th in state tournament
The Lake City boys’ golf team concluded a successful season with a sixth place finish at the state tournament last week. The Tigers recorded a 36 hole score of 630, 43 shots behind team champion, The Blake School.
Scores for Lake City golfers were: Brennan Rothgarn 41-36-38-37 (152), Thomas Huettl 37-41-41-37 (156), Levi Herbst 35-42-42-41 (160), Riley Fritz 40-41-42-40 (163), Carter Gnotke 41-42-40-42 (165), and Parker Schurhammer 41-42-45-39 (167).
The individual champion was Cecil Belisle from Red Wing who carded scores of 34-34-35-36 (139).
