Tiger boys outrun Lourdes Eagles in win
In a key early season Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) showdown, Lake City jumped to a 19-7 lead and never looked back in steam rolling previously unbeaten Rochester Lourdes 85-65 at Lincoln High School last Tuesday.
Nathan Heise pumped in 10 points including a pair of triples and Zach Bremer added seven points during the opening blitz by the Tigers which set the tone for the rest of the game. The Eagles are under the direction of new head coach David Norris II this season and feature a much more up tempo style of basketball as compared to the past 13 years under Jim Daly.
