Marc Kjos scored 21 points including four clutch free throws in the final 5.5 seconds as Lake City notched a thrilling 64-59 win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa in the Section 1AA quarterfinals Monday night at the Mayo Civic Arena. Lake City went eight of nine at the free throw line the final 1:06 to escape with the victory, the 12th in a row for the Tigers over the Cougars.
