Tiger boys upset Caledonia to earn a state tournament berth

After nearly three decades, the wait is finally over. The Lake City boys basketball team is heading back to the state tournament for the first time since 1990 as the Tigers stunned heavy favorite Caledonia 55-51 to win the Section 1AA championship. Marc Kjos poured in a career-high 27 points, including a three-point play with 28.1 seconds to go that put Lake City in front for good.
