Tiger dance team hit floor with confidence and left it state qualified

The Lake City high school dance team is headed to the state competition at the Target Center Feb. 13 and 14.

On Friday, Feb. 6, 13 teams competed in Sections at Lake City High School. It was a fierce competition between the best of the best. The Lake City girls had been practicing long hours all week and perfecting their routines.

Their first performance was their jazz routine to the song “Heartless.” The jazz team showcased their unique skills and took third place and state qualified.
