Tiger girls’ soccer takes on Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa

The Lake City High School girls soccer team lost 5-0 to Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa (PIZM) on Sept. 29.
PIZM scored three goals in the first half and added two insurance goals in the second half.
Goalkeeper McKenna Goihl-Krier stopped six of the 11 shot attempts she faced.
The Tigers were scheduled to play at Cannon Falls on Monday, Oct. 5, for their final game of the regular season.
Their season record is 3-7, sixth place in the Hiawatha Valley League.
