Tiger girls advance to semi-finals with win over Dover-Eyota

The No. 2-seed Lake City Tiger girls basketball team beat No. 7-seed Dover-Eyota 64-42 in the section quarterfinal game on Saturday, March 20.

The Tigers started out hot with a couple of blocks – one from Natalie Bremer and one from Mya Shones – and each of those resulted in some quick points by the Tigers.

The Eagles got on the board with 16:09 to go with a three-point shot. Then an Eagle drew a foul on a made basket but could not convert the three-point play. Lake City led 6-5.
