Tiger girls beat Lourdes at home
On Dec. 11 the Lake City High School Tiger girls found a way to defeat a very good Rochester Lourdes team by the score of 43-37. Each team was going through some offensive struggles early but slowly each team found some traction. At the half the Tigers had a 21-20 lead.
The second half was a back and forth affair with each team going on runs.
Lake City was able to go on the final run and win the game by a 6 point margin.
The Tigers were led by Ella Matzke who had 14 points and Peyton Meincke who had 12 points and 8 rebounds.
