Tiger girls cruise past Lewiston-Altura
The Lake City Tiger girls basketball team beat Lewiston-Altura (L-A) 70-29 in the first round of sections March 18.
Lake City scored 20 seconds into the game with Macey Beltz scoring on an easy layup with an assist from Grace Bany.
Beltz then had a steal from the Cardinals and passed to Natalie Bremer for the layup.
The Cardinals again turned the ball over and Bremer found Shones by the basket and the Tigers would take a quick lead 6-0.
Bremer passed to Lilly Meincke, who got it right back to Bremer for a basket.
