Tiger girls defeat Lewiston-Altura 61-30

For the Lake City Tiger girls basketball team’s last game of a busy first week, they hosted Lewiston Altura at home on Saturday, Dec. 4, in an afternoon game. Lake City was victorious by a score of 61-30.

The Tigers would start off a bit slow on offense but would get the first basket from Natalie Bremer with some great defensive pressure by Mya Shones and Macey Beltz the Cardinals would get a 10-second call and turn the ball over to the Tigers. Both teams would struggle to get the ball to fall in the first few minutes of the game.
