Tiger girls lose close tournament game to Lewiston-Altura

Lake City came up just short Saturday morning on day two of the Winona State Holiday Tournament, falling 52–51 in a back-and-forth battle against a much-improved Lewiston-Altura (L-A) squad.

Neither team led by more than a few possessions throughout the contest, as momentum swung repeatedly between the two sides. The Tigers matched L-A’s physical play and intensity, but a late score proved to be the difference in a tightly contested finish.
