Tiger girls open season with convincing win over Pine Island
The day finally came for the Lake City Tigers girls as a long-awaited season finally started, the girls have been patiently waiting since November for basketball to begin. They started the season at home hosting the Pine Island Panthers and came away with an 89-37 win. The Tigers bring back four starters from last year and Jacey Majerus fills in the final spot. Unfortunately, the Tigers will have to be without Paige West for the season as she sustained an injury in volleyball and will be healing up.
