Tiger girls top PEM in tournament play

The Lake City High School girls basketball team eliminated the Bulldogs of Plainview-Elgin-Millville with a 72-56 victory in the section tournament.

The Tigers would come out a bit slow but with 11:18 to go in the first half. Morgan West would come off the bench and hit a three point shot to tie up the game, causing PEM to take a time out.

This would give the Tigers the spark that they needed to get things going and go ahead of PEM and go on a 9-0 run giving the Tigers a 18-9 lead.
