Tiger volleyball opens season with win
It became clear from the onset that Lake City is beginning their 2019 volleyball season with another championship on their minds.
The Tigers easily swept Plainview-Elgin-Millville’s (PEM) Bulldogs in just three games during their season opener at home Aug. 26.
The first point of the night was the result of a kill by libero Morgan West.
Just two points later, Elyse Dalager chalked up the first Tiger ace of the season that was soon followed by a Grace Bany block that sent a hit 90 degrees to the floor.
