Tigers bounce back for tennis win over Cotter
The Lake City girls Tiger tennis team rebounded after a loss to Rochester Lourdes on Sept. 26 to defeat the Winona Cotter Ramblers 5-2 in Lake City on Sept. 28.
The doubles bracket was swept by Lake City.
At No. 1 doubles Emma Brunkow and Renae Harvey won 6-0, 6-3.
Kasi Cronin and Hailey Meincke cruised 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.
Dorothy Holland and Molly Kennedy shut out their opponents 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3.
In singles action, Ava Wallerich was defeated 2-6, 4-6 at No. 1.
Ashley Thieren tallied a point at No. 2, going 6-4, 6-2.
