Tigers fall to Stewartville

April 16 was a long day for the Lake City Tigers baseball team, falling to Stewartville 11-1.
Nathan Johnson pitched Stewartville to victory.  He surrendered one run on four hits over five innings, striking out five.  Zane Stier threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Zach Scharpen took the loss for Lake City.  He lasted three and a third innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out three.
Scharpen led the Lake City with two hits in three at bats.
