Tigers host big meet

12 teams compete at Hok-Si-La

The Lake City cross country invite saw great weather and large crowds watching.  Twelve teams descended on Hok-Si-La Park and the race day started with the junior high boys dominating the first race.  The boys had four in the top seven without their No. 1 runner, Ben Johnson, who led the junior varsity (JV).  
In the JV races, the boys’ placed third and the girls’ were in the runner-up position.  
The varsity races saw the Lake City boys finish second to Kasson-Mantorville, and the girls, who came up with a big race, finishing second, two points behind Stewartville.
