After an upset victory in the section quarterfinals, Lake City was faced with the difficult task to slow down the potent rushing attack of Saint Croix Lutheran.  The second seed Crusaders have been to state seven years in a row, finishing as the runner-up in the past two seasons.  A big early hole proved to be too much to overcome as Lake City’s season came to an end Saturday night in West Saint Paul in a 43-21 setback.
