Tough Goodhue team proves too much for Tiger girls on the road

On Friday, Dec. 15 the Tiger girls basketball team fell to Goodhue, one of the top teams in the Hiawatha Valley Leauge, by a score of 84-63.

The Tigers struggled from the field in the first half and found themselves down 39-23.

The second half provided more scoring for the Tigers, but it wasn’t enough as Goodhue came away with a convincing 84-63 win.

The Tigers were led by Morgan Majerus who recorded her career high 12 points. Ella Matzke and Sadie Sanders each were also in double figures with 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
