Tough Lourdes squad beats Tiger girls at home
On Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Lake City Tiger girls basketball team fell to a very good Rochester Lourdes team by the score of 53-32.
Lourdes played great half court defense in the first half. This made it very difficult for the Tigers to score.
They found themselves only scoring 11 first half points on 4 field goals.
The offense improved in the second period, but it was not enough to keep up with a very good Lourdes team.
The Tigers were led by Jacey Majerus who scored 16 points.
