Triton ends Tiger girls’ season in first round of section tournament

The No. 11-seed Lake City Tigers saw their 2025-26 season come to a close Thursday night, falling to No. 6-seed Triton Cobras 67-42 in the opening round of the Section 1AA Tournament.
Lake City battled early, competing on the defensive end and working to control the tempo, but Triton used a strong first-half surge to pull away. The loss ends the Tigers’ season with a 12-14 overall record.
