Upset ends Tiger girls' tournament run
The top-seeded Lake City Tiger girls basketball team lost a tough one to No. 4-seed Winona Cotter to end their season March 2.
Tigers traveled to Rochester Civic Center to take on the Ramblers.
The Tigers just would not get the offense going allowing Cotter would take a quick 5-0 lead.
Then Lilly Meincke would get a nice drive to the basket for two for the Tigers and give them a little spark, but the Ramblers would be hot from the outside and increase their lead to 2-10 with 11:22 to go in the first half.
