Volleyball Tigers bow in semis

The Lake City High School girls volleyball team entered the Sub-section 1AA East Tournament as the second seed. Their hopes were dashed when they lost to No. 3 seed St. Charles in the semifinals on Oct. 29 at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.
The match went the distance in a five set battle (3-2), a rerun of their first meeting this year when the Tigers came away with the win. Lake City was not as fortunate this time.
