Volleyball Tigers defeat RW, advance to East final
It was 7 p.m. under the lights of the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium with the Lake City Tigers on one side of the net and the Red Wing Wingers on the other. Two teams that had split their match-ups during the season were meeting to determine who would move on to play for the Section 1AA East Championship.
Lake City scored the first four points, but three of them were for Red Wing off Tiger errors.
The Tigers seemed to shake off the mistakes pretty quickly and settle into the game scoring five before giving the ball back to the Wingers.
