Volleyball wins long session with Lewiston-Altura to move on to sub-section title game
If set one had been any kind of tell-tale sign, Tiger fans would have thought they’d be driving home with a quick, easy win and plans for the Sub-section 1AA East championship match on Oct. 31.
But quick and easy was not what the Lewiston-Altura (L-A) Cardinals had planned for the Lake City Tigers during the semifinal last Thursday at the Mayo Civic Center.
Grace Bany did the honors of putting the first point of the match on the board, but the Cardinals came back and matched her hit with one that went into a Tiger block and out of bounds.
