Volleyball wins sub-section quarterfinals over Lourdes

Seeded No. 2 in Sub-Section 1AA East, the Lake City Tigers hosted the No. 7 seed Rochester Lourdes Eagles during quarterfinal round Oct. 24, and made easy work of their conference rivals.
Game one started with both teams sending their first serve out of bounds, followed by a volley and an attempted kill by Lourdes that flew outside the lines.
With the game at 2-1, Lake City, Elyse Dalager put the first earned point on the board with an ace.
