Wildcats get hot late to beat Tiger boys 78-67

A late second half run propelled Goodhue past Lake City 78-67 last Tuesday night at Lincoln High School.

Lake City raced out to an 8-2 lead after three minutes of play. Josh Wohlers had 10 points in the early stages for the Tigers before the Wildcats seized momentum with a 14-3 run that featured a trio of triples. Freshman Cody Ryan hit a pair of three-pointers off the bench as part of this run that saw Goodhue surge ahead 29-21 with 6:12 to play until halftime.
