Wohlers leads Tiger boys over Pine Island 71-50

Justin Wohlers scored a career-high 28 points as Lake City won its 2021 season opener 71-50 at Pine Island on Friday night. The Tigers used a 23-6 run to open the second half after leading by four at intermission to pull away.

The game got off to a bit of a sloppy start as the teams combined to miss eight consecutive field goals before freshman Hunter Lorenson opened the scoring with a floater in the lane two and a half minutes in.
