Wrestling girls compete at home for first time this season
The Lake City High School girls wrestlers had their first home competition of the season hosting Lewiston-Altura Rushford-Peterson (LARP) and Pine Island.
Junior Hailey Eggenberger opened the night with a thrilling 4-2 overtime win over her LARP opponent. Madyson Skifton was next up and she lost to a veteran wrestler from LARP followed by a narrow loss from seventh grade Klara Schmidt by the score of 7-4. Junior Ericka Hansen won with a first period pin against LARP.
