Weed management resources available in Wabasha County

The Cooperative Weed Management Area (CWMA) program with the Wabasha Soil and Water Conservation District provides educational, technical and financial resources to residents interested in invasive species management.

CWMAs are partnership organizations formed with the goal of managing invasive plants across jurisdictional and landownership boundaries. Work takes place within a defined geographic area.

The program works with private landowners, city, county, state and federal agencies, railroad authorities and non-governmental organizations.
