Public works director: City not seeing elevated nitrate levels in drinking water

After the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) asked the State of Minnesota in a letter to take action on concerns over nitrate levels in some southeastern Minnesota drinking water that could pose health risks, Lake City Public Works Director Scott Jensen said that so far, the city has not seen evelated nitrate levels in its municipal water system.
